Message from Tzanko

Last weekend was great for both our Silver and Gold teams. Teams.The Gold Team was just SUPER at Sectionals in Minnesota.In Juniors Michael Zook won the Gold Medal.Albert Starshak and Nabil Salem got 3rd and 4th. Kevin Shapiro came in 6th place.Jacky Swietochovski also snaged the Bronze medal .They all are going to Summer Nationals.They also did great in DIV 1ANabil got the bronze and Michael was 5th.
Kevin Shapiro ended up with a 10th place finish in very tough competition.Nabil and Michael will fence Div 1A at Nationals too.

The Silver team also pickup up a victory.
At the same time the Gold team members were dominating in Minnesota
Mason Speta won the Y 12 SYC in Wellesley, Ma and took 5th in Y14 Girls event.

Congratz to everyone and GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEK IN PORTLAND at the NAC where most of the SILVER TEAM will be competing.
I also want to take a moment to wish the best for LYDIA KOPECKY IN HER D1 NAtionals Championship.

There is so much to cheer about this year.

We are happy to Announce further good new for Windy City Fencing.

Lydia Kopecky took Third Place in Women's Epee at the Reminyik Open and earning her "B" rating. This is one of the largest open epee tournaments of the year, .

Kevin Shapiro took 8th place at the USFA NAC "A" in Div III.
