Congratulations to Harrison MacRae: 6th place medal at the Remenyik ROC. Three more Windy City fencers with top 16 16 finishes: Iliya Mechkov, Tomas Straka, and Becca Rose. Congrats to all who competed!

· Congratulations to Becca Rose, 5th place medal in Div. II Womens Epee, and to everyone who fenced at the Richmond NAC this weekend. Good start to the year!

Windy City Fencing's Fame Grows

· Congratulations to everyone who competed in the Burton yesterday! It was an event filled with top-tier fencers from the Chicago area and beyond. Once again Windy City Fencing competitors set the bar and turned in impressive results. Dante LaVia was 6th, earning his A2011. Khoa Doa and Nathaniel Green finished 26th and 30th, both earning their D2011 ratings, and Mason Speta placed 2nd in the Women's event!! Harrison MacRae had a great day with a 3rd place finish, Joe Guinan on 11th place, and Damien Johnson on 23rd place, earning his C2011 !!! Great job everyone :D

At hers first ever Nationals, Andrea Benatar placed in the final and got hers best result ever..

Windy City is sending a large number of fencers to Nationals this year.

I know how hard everyone worked to get there and I want to wish all of them well.

I have a strong feeling that WCF will have a number of fencers that will be bringing home trophies.
